World Milk Day
“Drink, children, milk, you will be healthy!” - this phrase fully applies to June 1 - World Milk Day.
This holiday was first celebrated in 2001 at the suggestion of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Since then, the tradition has become widespread in many countries around the world.
The purpose of the holiday is to popularize milk and dairy products among people, as well as to inform the public about activities related to milk and dairy production.
To test milk for such a dangerous disease for children and adults as brucellosis, the Shchelkovo Biocombinat produces a test kit for the Ring reaction with milk for the rapid diagnosis of brucellosis. The diagnostic kit allows in the field conditions to quickly and easily carry out the screening of a lactating herd, which will give confidence in the safety of milk to producers and buyers of their products.
