  This year the Milk and Dairy Industry exhibition prepared a comprehensive display, covering all aspects of agricultural industry. It also had a diverse business program, thus providing participants with a unique opportunity to meet and hear opinion of leading experts of the industry, including key business players.
  Being an integral part of any exhibition business program plays a very important part as it links together exhibitors, visitors and industry experts. It acts as a platform to share experience, opinions and advanced technologies.
  The 12-th International Exhibition Meat and Dairy Industry 2014 included a number of sessions and presentations covering such areas as cattle, poultry and pig breeding, dairy husbandry, production and processing of milk. All sessions took place in Pavilion 75.
  First meeting took place on March, 18. It was a round table discussion that covered a very important topic Chronic Cattle Diseases - Tuberculosis and Brucellosis. Participants discussed animal welfare and chronic infections in various sectors of stock breeding and ways to improve sanitary measures that should take into account regional epizootic and economic conditions, use modern diagnostics and specific preventive measures. Veterinary chiefs of Stavropol Region and Republic of Tatarstan shared their experience in prevention and elimination of brucellosis and tuberculosis.
  The event included managers and experts of state veterinary services from 40 Russian regions, representatives of Posselhoznadzor, science associates and chief veterinarians of livestock farms.
  Mr. Nikolay Zenov, MD, Aide to the Production Director of Shchelkovsky Biokombinat, also presented his report Usage of BIV Antigen to detect latent forms of brucellosis in the cattle. During the conference experts ask speakers questions, shared their opinions and practical experience.
