Dry live vaccine against Swine salmonellosis (paratyphoid) from the strain TS-177
Purpose:
The vaccine is intended for preventive immunization in disadvantaged and threatened by disease farms for clinically healthy swine against salmonellosis caused by Salmonella choleraesuis.
Description and characteristic:
In appearance, the vaccine is a dry porous mass of white or pale-yellow color, which is easily dissolved in water or saline solution, forming a homogeneous slurry consisting of a live culture of Salmonella choleraesuis vaccine strain TS-177, lyophilized in a protective environment.
Method of vaccination:
Before applying the dry vaccine is dissolved and used in accordance with the directions for use. The vaccine is administered intramuscularly in the neck, twice, in doses indicated in the directions for use, with an interval of 8-10 days. Pregnant sows are vaccinated twice intramuscularly, by four doses of the vaccine: the first time - for 40-45 days, the second time - for 30-35 days prior to farrowing.
Immune response:
The vaccine triggers the immune response on the 8-10th day after the double injection and lasts at least 6 months.
Production form:
The vaccine is packaged into 2-4 cm3 (10-200 doses) bottles of suitable capacity.
Storage and transportation conditions:
The vaccine is stored and transported in a dark place at a temperature from 2 to 8ºС.
Shelf life - 12 months.
