Virus-vaccine against equine rhinopneumonitis dry cultural from the strain SV/69
Purpose:
The vaccine is intended for immunization of horses against equine rhinopneumonitis in disadvantaged and threatened by disease farms.
Description and characteristic:
In appearance, the vaccine is a dry porous mass of beige or pink color, easily soluble in a sterile physiological solution or distilled water. The vaccine is made from an attenuated strain of СВ/69 equines rhinopneumonitis virus, lyophilized in a protective environment.
Method of vaccination:
Before use, the vaccine is dissolved with sterile saline or distilled water at the rate of 2 cm3 of solvent per dose. Immunization of horses is carried out twice with an interval of 3-4 months. Foals are vaccinated for the first time at the age of 3 months and again 3-4 weeks before weaning. Pregnant mares are vaccinated for the first time on the 1-3 month of pregnancy, again after 3-4 months, but not later than the 7th month of foaling. Revaccination of horses is carried out annually, twice with an interval of 3-4 months. Vaccination of sports horses is completed no later than 2 weeks before departure from the farm.
Immune response:
The vaccine causes the formation of an immune response in horses on 10-14 days after the first administration of the vaccine, the intensity of immunity increases after repeated immunization.
Production form:
The vaccine is packaged into 2; 4 cm3 bottles of suitable capacity.
Storage and transportation conditions:
The vaccine is stored and transported in a dark place at a temperature from 2 to 8°C.
Shelf life - 12 months.
